Who you are
- With around three years of PR experience, you’re media-obsessed. You know who’s who across the health and tech media landscape, and you leverage existing relationships to land incredible coverage
- You’ll have experience of pitching in different markets - The UK + Europe is our core market but if you have experience of landing high impact coverage in the US or other markets we’ll be extra impressed.
- Your background in healthcare or science means you aren’t phased by jargon or technical language - in fact, translating the complex into the compelling is your bread and butter
- You enjoy writing compelling, original shortform and longform copy - and can turn around work quickly with flawless grammar
- Working in, and with, fast-paced startups and purpose-led companies gives you a buzz
- You’re ready to learn - our work is varied and there is always something new to get to grips with
- Problem-solving is second nature - we have a ‘yes, if’ culture, so we think outside the box to solve problems and identify new approaches
- Collaboration is your forte, and you enjoy working as part of a team and supporting others to upskill and develop

What you'll be doing
- Lead client accounts and take full ownership of client delivery, ensuring exceptional service and successful PR campaigns.
- Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns for life sciences clients, aiming to secure top-tier coverage in national and sector publications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts in the life sciences industry.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop PR strategies aligned with clients'business objectives.
- Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials - including longform blogs and thought leadership pieces .
- Monitor and analyse media coverage, providing regular reports and insights to clients.
- Conduct media outreach and secure media placements across various channels (print, digital, broadcast).
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities in the life sciences sector.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to new business proposals and presentations.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and PR best practices.
- Collaborate with the marketing and events teams to maximise PR opportunities.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree or higher in a relevant field (PR, communications, life sciences, etc.).
- Around 3 years of experience in PR, with a focus on life sciences and a track record of leading client delivery and securing top-tier coverage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong media relations and networking abilities.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful PR campaigns.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented, with exceptional organisational and time management skills.
Benefits
- Salary dependent on experience £34,000-£38,000
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with office close / light duties between Christmas and New Year
- Remote working, with monthly team days in London
- Monthly budget of £100 for access to office / co-working spaces to meet with other members of the team or if you fancy an occasional change of scenery
