We're looking for an entrepreneurial business development specialist
Full time
Who You Are
- You are genuinely excited about marketing, communications and business strategy, and the dynamic world of healthcare, life sciences, and technology.
- You’ve spent 2-3 years in a similar business development role - whether that's rooted in healthcare, healthtech, biotech, or life sciences, or from an agency or communications background without prior exposure to the health sector.
- Alternatively, you might currently hold a position that intersects with these areas and seek to expand your expertise and responsibilities.
- You see growth opportunities everywhere you look and you know how to harness them to drive tangible impact for the business and the communities that we serve.
- You instinctively know how to communicate - by that we mean you can talk to people with ease, build relationships and confidence with current and prospective clients and partners, and you also know how to listen: to their holiday plans, their woes and their business needs alike.
- You are an articulate communicator, confident in building and nurturing relationships with clients and partners, and skilled at conveying the unique value of our services. Your proactive and strategic mindset enables you to identify new business opportunities, design outreach strategies, and convert potential prospects into long-term partnerships.
- You love autonomy, tackling complex problems with creative, impactful solutions.
- Coworkers and people that know you describe you as an innovator, intrapreneur, or entrepreneurial thinker who contributes fresh ideas and forward-thinking perspectives.
- Your organisation skills rival Marie Kondo and you are known for your strong eye for detail, thorough approach to all that you do and completing tasks to a high standard, that ensures nothing essential is overlooked.
- You excel at creating persuasive proposals and strategic plans that highlight our expertise. Your curiosity drives you to remain informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging developments in healthcare and technology, enriching your strategic approach.
- Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you enjoy working across departments, sharing insights, and contributing to the company’s growth. Adaptable and ambitious, you are eager to take on new challenges and broaden your skill set.
- You are brimming with ideas, understand what makes them viable and profitable, and can develop and execute plans that bring them to fruition.
- Above all, you seek the freedom to innovate.
Even if you don’t meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply if you are enthusiastic about the role and committed to growing within it.
